A police officer once pulled over a Judge to give him a ticket. Seeing the man looked honest, good and kind he asked him “why did you run that red light?” “I am in a hurry,” the Judge responded. “I have important things to do.” The officer said “O.k. if you can answer this question correctly, I’ll let you go with a warning.” “Go right ahead,” said the Judge. “When were the Ten Commandments were written?” the Police officer asked. The Judge’s response was “Why they were written by hand of God during the life of Moses.” And the Police Officer said “As sure as this traffic law that you broke existed before you were born, surely the commandments of God were in existence long before God gave them again to Moses” and he gave the Judge a ticket.
